The International Theosophical Creative Arts Awards is a new annual global initiative dedicated to revitalising the creation of original Theosophical works in literature and the creative arts.<\/p>\n

For nearly 150 years, Theosophy has enriched humanity through profound ethical and spiritual teachings expressed in books, journals, lectures, and works of art, inspiring generations of seekers, writers, artists, and thinkers around the world. Building on this remarkable legacy, the International Theosophical Creative Arts Awards (ITCAA) seeks to encourage a new flourishing of original creative expression inspired by the ageless wisdom.<\/p>\n

Special emphasis is placed on works that illuminate its ethical teachings, spiritual awakening, enlightenment, compassion, universal love, kindness toward all beings and forms of life, and siblinhood, while offering profound, accessible insights into navigating grief, sorrow, loss, and other contemporary life challenges, inspiring readers to live with greater wisdom, purpose, and inner peace.<\/p>\n

\n1. Eligibility<\/p>\n

The Awards are open to creators worldwide.
\nWorks must be original and completed within the last three (3) years.
\nThe submitter must own the full copyright of the work.<\/p>\n

2. Originality and Copyright<\/p>\n

All entries must be the original work of the entrant. Plagiarized or infringing works will be disqualified.
\nCopyright remains fully with the creator at all times.<\/p>\n

3. Screening & Promotional Rights<\/p>\n

By submitting your work to the ITCAA, you grant the organizers a non-exclusive, royalty-free license for a period of three (3) years to:<\/p>\n

Screen the work (in full or excerpts) during the Awards Ceremony and related official events.
\nUse excerpts for promotional purposes on the official ITCAA website and social media channels.<\/p>\n

Online Screening: Selected winning and finalist works may be screened online through the official ITCAA website or a dedicated ITCAA YouTube channel. However, we will respect requests from creators who prefer their full work not to be uploaded publicly on YouTube. Such requests must be clearly indicated during the submission process.
\n4. Publication Rights (Books & Short Stories)
\nThe ITCAA may publish excerpts from winning or finalist books and short stories for promotional purposes. Full books or short stories will not be published without a separate written agreement with the author.<\/p>\n

5. Category Requirements<\/p>\n

International Theosophical Book Award: Published or unpublished books (fiction or non-fiction), minimum 40 pages.
\nInternational Documentary Award: 10 to 60 minutes (including credits).
\nInternational Short Film Award: 5 to 20 minutes (including credits). Colour or black & white accepted.
\nInternational Animation & AI Creative Media Award: 5 to 20 minutes (including credits).
\nInternational Short Story Award: Maximum 7,500 words.<\/p>\n

6. Submission Process<\/p>\n

All submissions must be made through the official online form and upload link on this website.
\nEntrants may submit up to three (3) works per category.
\nA submission fee may apply.
\nLate submissions will not be accepted.<\/p>\n

7. General Conditions<\/p>\n

Jury decisions are final.
